Micaela Muzzarelli — Phantom, Cellist

At a towering 5’6”, a double water sign, and a Carrie through and through, Micaela is honored and thrilled to be making her return to the stage and Rocky Horror debut this year. She’s no stranger to McMorran, having performed there in PHCT shows, at sporting events, and with the International Symphony Orchestra since 2006.

Since graduating from Wayne State, her career as a professional cellist has taken her from regional pit orchestras to recording studios to international concert stages to the Detroit Pistons Halftime Show and Van Andel Arena with female-powered musician collective Midtown Strings.

Truthfully, Micaela would never have been able to stay away from the stage for too long. Musical theater has been her glitter-covered anchor and one great love since childhood. To those who had the courage and stomach to create her favorite works, she owes her deepest thanks.

And to all you wonderful people out there in the dark, give yourself over to absolute pleasure and enjoy the show 💋

Rob Kessler — Riff Raff

After three years of glistening muscles and gold lamé as Rocky, Rob Kessler has undergone a dramatic metamorphosis. Now, he’s traded abs for angst and stepped into the delightfully deranged role of Riff Raff. Rob brings a whole new flavor of weird to The Rocky Horror Show—equal parts creepy, campy, and just a little too comfortable around his sister.

Rob’s Riff Raff is a masterclass in unsettling charm, complete with stringy hair, a sinister stare, and a voice that could summon aliens—or at least make you question your family tree. His performance is electric, eccentric, and just the right amount of “should we be concerned?”

From golden boy to gothic gremlin—he’s here to warp your time and your comfort zone.

Emma Cowan — Bass Player

Emma Cowan is an award-winning artist and musician, photographer, writer, business owner of Lady Lavender Detailing and Lady Lavender Photography, and above all else, a mother to her daughter Melody. She has performed nationwide with her family band Criminal Rock, opening for Dio, Saliva, and Dokken, starred as a lead in the musical FREE, and dances hip hop and tap with The Dance Academy.

Katie King — Phantom

Katie King aka “KK” has been dancing for 42 years basically since she could walk in a straight line (and occasionally in heels). Shoutout to her mom, who owned the studio where she taught (no pressure, right?) and made dance a full-blown lifestyle. She’s trained, taught, choreographed, and after one year off, she came crawling back because honestly… life without glitter, fishnets, and pelvic thrusts? Tragic. She’s back and ready to Time Warp like it’s a full-time job.

Cady Morgan — Magenta

Cady Morgan (Magenta) has been dancing and performing since she was little and has always found a home in theater and its community. She first joined The Rocky Horror Show in 2018, and this year marks her fifth production. After years of performing as a Phantom and previously portraying Magenta in the Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast, she is beyond excited and grateful to step into her first lead role. Rocky has been a love of hers since childhood, and it’s been a dream come true to bring Magenta to life on stage. She is deeply thankful for her Rocky family and can’t wait to time warp again!

Makenna Riggs — Janet

Makenna is THRILLED to be in her first stage production of Rocky Horror as her dream role, Janet!  She has been acting semi professionally for the past year, but has been acting overall since she was 3.  She is a junior at Oakland University, studying Psychology with a double minor in Deaf Studies and History.

You might have seen her in Arsène Performing Arts: “Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadowcast” as Janet, “Fame and Fortune” as ensemble, “The Bugs” as Sam the Firefly, and many others.

Makenna would like to give a shoutout to her family and friends for always supporting her love in performing arts.

She would also love to give a SPECIAL shoutout to her ‘Brad’, Austin.  Sharing the stage with him has been nothing other than magical, and she is so lucky to have his support through every show!

Makenna hopes everyone enjoys this amazing show, this could not have happened without the incredible cast and crew.

The main thing Makenna has learned doing her dream show, as her dream role is…
Don’t Dream it, Be it!
